KRAAK: Philosophy of AI (EN)
After the succesful Sci-Fi edition, the Vage Bond will explore the technologies of the present! Artificial intelligence is no longer just something to be found in science fiction movies, but is popping up everywhere, in the shape of programs like Midjourney and ChatGPT. But what are the advantages of these developments? What are the dangers? Is AI-generated art ‘real’ art? And just how human are these artificial intelligences?
Philosophers Nathan Wildman and Roos Slegers will tackle these questions and more, fully in English this time.
Afterwards, we can dance the robot to the electronic music of Tilburg-based band The Robots Are Coming and Tom Maas.
