Murf/Murw Festival
Van 3 t/m 5 oktober smelt Murf/Murw Festival de binnenstad van Tilburg weer samen tot één grote experimentele ontmoetingsplek. Het anarchistische makerscollectief Murf/Murw (oorspronkelijk begonnen als fanzine), presenteert 80+ grensverleggende optredens waarin underground-kunstenaars uit binnen- en buitenland hun krachten bundelen. Het festival laat disciplines als live-muziek, performance, film en beeldende kunst botsen en versmelten.
Dit jaar word je uitgenodigd in gloednieuwe én vertrouwde omgevingen: het festival opent voor het eerst deuren in Schouwburg en Concertzaal Tilburg, en er ontkiemt een verrassende pop-up locatie midden in de stad. Ook is er voor de tweede keer een filmprogramma te zien in de leegstaande Broekhovense Kerk (30 september t/m 2 oktober).

From October 3rd to 5th, the Murf/Murw Festival will once again melt Tilburg's city center into one giant experimental meeting place. The anarchist creative collective Murf/Murw (originally a fanzine) presents over 80 groundbreaking performances in which underground artists from the Netherlands and abroad join forces. The festival allows disciplines such as live music, performance, film, and visual art to collide and merge.
This year, you're invited to brand-new yet familiar spaces: the festival will open its doors for the first time at the Tilburg Schouwburg en Concertzaal, and a surprising pop-up location will sprout up in the heart of the city. For the second time, a film program will also be shown in the vacant Broekhovense Kerk (30 September t/m 2 October).
