Vulcanize me is een absurde zoektocht van 2 vrouwen die zich proberen los te trekken uit een schijnbaar vastgeroeste situatie. Ze zoeken naar een systeem waar plaats is om te ontploffen. Een ruimte waar lichamen in opstand komen, waar ontembare vrouwen, moedergodinnen en motorbabes regeren. Hun woorden kunnen soms onsamenhangend en wispelturig zijn. Ze weigeren zich over te geven aan een heersende moraal, die ervan smult als je onderuitgaat of weggevaagd wordt. Als kleine kraters openen ze nieuwe mogelijkheden...
De performers bevinden zich in een gestileerd vulkanisch landschap. Hoe verhoudt hun lichaam zich tot deze immense oerkracht? Ze ontdekken zowel het externe landschap als hun interne beleving. Wat zijn de mogelijke paralellen? Welke krachten zitten er in het vrouwelijk lichaam en hoe kan dat lichaam zich verhouden tot de destructieve kracht in en rondom haar?

Vulcanize Me is an absurd quest by two women trying to escape a seemingly stuck situation. They search for a system where there is space to explode. A space where bodies revolt, where indomitable women, mother goddesses, and biker babes reign. Their words can sometimes be incoherent and fickle. They refuse to surrender to a prevailing morality, which will enjoy it if you fall or gets swept away.
Like small craters, they open up new possibilities...
The performers find themselves in a stylized volcanic landscape. How do their bodies relate to this immense primal force? They explore both the external landscape and their internal experience. What are the possible parallels? What forces reside within the female body, and how can that body relate to the destructive force within and around it?
